Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls by Lynn Weingarten

Suicide notes from beautiful girls is about a girl named June who finds out her former best friend Delia has died. she learns that Delia committed suicide but after talking to Delia’s boyfriend, and a few others she begins to think differently and goes about trying to figure out the truth of what happened to Delia.

when I read the premise of this book I really thought I’d like it. well, I really was wrong. I liked parts of it. the twist is good, I didn’t see it coming. but beyond that this was not a good story. it could have been though. here’s what I didn’t like:

-the characters. I didn’t feel anything for them. I didn’t relate that much or understand them

-the ending. it was not satisfying and i was confused. I didn’t really understand what was going on.

-it was a little predictable. there was one moment in the book where i went “oh i know what will happen” it wasn’t a big deal but i feel i needed to include it.

I was disappointed to say the least. I don’t often dislike books. if you want to check it out for yourself please feel free to let me know your thoughts on it. I’d love to hear them
